Are currently conducting a research trial offering group based interventions to individuals with recurrent depression and suicidal thoughts. The research is being conducted at Bangor university and Oxford university and they are trying to recruit individuals in the North Wales region. The Mental Health Users' Forum is a membership group for residents of the North Wales counties of Gwynedd & Ynys Môn who may have had help with Mental Health problems.
We hold regular conferences and informal get-togethers in
order to share our ideas and experiences of mental health. Through this we
gain mutual support and can obtain information and advice on the current standard
of service provision.
We can have an influence on how we are treated.....
