Hergest Patients Council

ARE YOU INTERESTED OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED

IN BEING PART OF A PATIENTS’ COUNCIL AT THE HERGEST UNIT IN YSBYTY GWYNEDD?

 

A patients’ council has been set up at the Hergest Psychiatric Unit at Ysbyty Gwynedd for some time now. The group is looking for new members, current or recently discharged patients who may be interested in becoming part of the council. The aim of the council is to gather the views of users of the Hergest, in order to inform and influence the development and delivery of services for the future. The Hergest Patients’ Council has a representative who sits on the management committee of the unit and passes on the views of service users forward. We need more members who can help us to progress with this important work.
